Be able to present a range of photographic images for a specific media product.
The final part of unit 31 is to document how you have edited 5 of your images and what the intentions of the images were. For this you need to have evidence that you have selected the images based on their aesthetic qualities and that the editing has been both relevant and helped to enhance the meaning of the image.
To do this effectively you need to have the following in a blog post:
- the original images
- evidence of the editing e.g. screenshots of Photoshop work
- the finished altered image
- the final image being used in the title sequence
It may be easier to create a blog post for each image and describe the process as opposed to making a post to try and discuss all 5.
For your commentary you need to explain why you have used the photos you have chosen. There are three ways you could do this.
1) A written description of 100 words for each photo (500 overall) . The description should explain your intentions for using each image. What are you trying to convey to the viewer?
2) Make a video annotation describing the shots and your intention.
3) Record a directors commentary describing the and you intentions.
